| Mostly, I shoot natural, fine art nudes. I also shoot nature without nudes. Medium format film is my preference. My work is sometimes conceptual and symbolic, sometimes humorous, sometimes dark, and sometimes it is simply a capture of Earthly beauty. I showcase my printed work in my art gallery in Belfast, Maine (Galerie Dufour) as well as in solo and group shows a few times per year at various art venues in the Northeastern U.S. I am often hired to do commission work of like kind. I only do art photography; I don't shoot erotica, glam, fashion, general portraiture, baby photos, yearbook photos, wedding, divorce, nor funeral photos. i wish deviantART administrators would abandon the category "artistic nudes", and recreate two categories instead: "sensual/erotic nudes" and "fine art/conceptual nudes". maybe if everyone who recognizes the difference would make this request, visitors would find primarily what they want, not material they have no interest in viewing. Everyone wins.
